My interest is primarily focused on the state hospital grounds. I am a professional forester and moved near the state hospital 18 months ago. I have greatly enjoyed the variety of the native and ornamental trees on the grounds that have obviously been well-cared for for decades.

I don't have a strong opinion on what do do with the buildings, but I would like to help do what I can to preserve the existing green space west and south of the J-Building. With proper planning this green space could be on par with Bush Park. Its protection is essential to maintaining the quality of life for surrounding homeowners. I will be watching closely to see where the planners are thinking the "footprint" of the new facility will be located.

Please keep me in the loop as more information becomes available.
